After dropping a pair of singles last week from a hinted soon-to-drop album, Nicki Minaj has released a music video for "Chun-Li".
Minaj and Cardi worked together on "Motorsport" with Migos, and after it came out last fall, Cardi said in an interview that she was offered a part on the song by Quavo after Minaj recorded an early version of her verse.
In the caption for the third post, she told her followers to check out the teaser for her "Barbie Tingz" video on Tidal.
A teaser for a more high-budget video for "Barbie Tingz" has also been shared on YouTube.
2 arrested in connection to shooting during attempted robbery
Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a convenience store in Yeronga last night. The victim was afraid and opened the register, which the suspect removed cash from, police said.
And in case there was any doubt of how Nicki felt about the matter or if anyone had any confusion about the story, Minaj also took to her Twitter to elaborate. But I will say, shout-out to Cardi and all the new female rappers who have been doing their thing. I didn't hear that verse. Minaj even evokes Chun-Li on the single's cover art, which shows her sporting the character's signature oxtail hair buns. The news came to light during the broadcast of her interview with Zane Lowe on Thursday, and was later fleshed during a Twitter exchange with her followers. Love you guys tho. So how were those changes gonna happen if I didn't "change" my verse?
"It hurt my feelings to know that people would watch me be slaughtered and not one person will step in to say the truth", she said.
