"In all, 16 people spoke to CNN about Freeman as part of this investigation, eight of whom said they were victims of what some called harassment and others called inappropriate behaviour by Freeman", CNN says. She said the 80-year-old touched her repeatedly, even tried to lift her skirt and asked if she was wearing underwear.
A third woman, a production staff member for the 2013 film "Now You See Me", told CNN that crew members knew "not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms", or any fitted clothes if Freeman was on set. She says he made other comments to her that weren't on tape, including, "You are ripe".
Another woman claimed his inappropriate behaviour was so widespread that colleagues told her, "Don't worry, that's just Morgan". "He did comment on our bodies..." He has denied it saying he has never meant to make anyone uncomfortable.
CNN reporter Chloe Melas also accused Freeman of sexually harassing her at a press junket past year when she was six months pregnant.
Freeman has since issued an apology for making anyone feel "uncomfortable or disrespected".
Furthermore, seven of the people CNN interviewed "described an environment at Revelations Entertainment that included allegations of harassment or inappropriate behavior by Freeman there".

The Senate bill also doubles of the amount of time a victim has to decide if they want to file a lawsuit. The House bill would make lawmakers liable even without an ethics committee ruling.

Melas says Freeman's co-stars, Alan Arkin and Michael Caine, were seated on either side of Freeman and looked at him when he made the comment. In a newly surfaced video he told a female reporter how happy he was to look at her and 'drool'.
Melas said she reported Freeman's behaviour to CNN's human resources department and they contacted Warner Bros, the film's studio. His other major films include "The Shawshank Redemption", "Se7en", and "Driving Miss Daisy", along with several "Batman " films.

In the wake of accusations Thursday that Morgan Freeman subjected eight women to unwanted touching and sexual comments, performers union SAG-AFTRA is reconsidering the lifetime achievement award bestowed on the actor at the annual SAG Awards this past January.
