Thomas Tuchel has replaced departing Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery, so the German can start preparing to implement his blueprint for success at Parc des Princes. The Spaniard's failure to advance beyond the Champions League round of 16 during both seasons at the helm is thought to be the primary reason behind the decision. The 26-year-old, who was today named in Brazil's World Cup squad for the competition in Russian Federation, reportedly wants to quit the Parc des Princes.
"Thomas is one of the best and most competitive European coaches to have emerged over the last few seasons", declared PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. "He has the mix of spectacular and effective principles that have always been the true strength of German football". The Ligue 1 title they secured with a 7-1 thrashing of their closest rival, Monaco, back in April was their fifth in seven seasons since the club was bought by Oryx Qatar Sports Investments.
While Emery is ready for a new opportunity, the 46-year-old said he was yet to receive an offer from Arsenal.
During his spell his two-year spell with Dortmund, Tuchel won the DFB Pokal Cup in the 2016/17 season at the Signa Iguna Park.

And he raised his level of play after fellow all-star DeMarcus Cousins went down to an Achilles injury. He was the number one player on the leagues number one offense .
Before Dortmund, Tuchel was in charge of Mainz for five years.
While there's no doubting Tuchel is a talented coach, there have been rocky spells in his career previously.
A falling-out with the Dortmund hierarchy cost him as job, and he had been out of work since then.
