An HC-130 Hercules airplane crew with two medical personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station in Clearwater, Florida, traveled to Exuma and transported the boaters to the air station where emergency medical services awaited. The captain of the boat and owner of "4 C's Adventures" tour company was also among those taken to Princess Margaret Hospital.
