Each of the rescued boys has been guided through the dark, narrow cave by a pair of divers.
The flooded Tham Luang cave was treacherous and the mission was not without its tragedy, with former Thai Navy SEAL Samarn Kunun perishing while replenishing air canisters in the cave for divers last Friday.
Cave-diving experts had warned it was potentially too risky to dive the youngsters out. When they arrived at the hospital, a crowd of well-wishers gathered outside, cheering and applauding them just as they had done earlier when the last rescued boys and their coach were driven into the hospital emergency bay.
The mission wasn't entirely successful, however.

The eight boys brought out on Sunday and Monday are in good health overall, though two are suffering from pneumonia, according to hospital staff cited by AP. They did get a treat, however: bread with chocolate spread that they'd requested.
He was taken by helicopter and then ambulance to the hospital in Chiang Rai were the first four boys, who were rescued on Sunday, are now being held in quarantine as they undergo tests.
Two of the boys are thought to have lung infections, but there are no serious complaints to report.
"The kids are footballers, so they have high immune systems", Jedsada told a news conference. "We wish them all the best for the future".
"I've told them once this has died down let's really sit down and have a more in-depth interview on what's really happening", he said.

"We were obviously very afraid of any kind of panic from the divers", he said, adding he was in awe of the boys' ability to stay calm.
Narongsak said the rescued boys had not been identified out of respect for the families whose sons were still trapped.
Manchester City and England star Kyle Walker has also lent his support, and offered to send the team England shirts following the news of their rescue.
"If this place had a roof, the morale has gone straight through it", he said.
Hours after the rescue was confirmed, President Trump tweeted his congratulations, adding, "Such a attractive moment - all freed, great job!" "Such a lovely moment - all freed, great job!"
The final part of the operation to rescue a boys' football team from a cave in Thailand has begun.
