An official based in Syria and allied with government forces says Islamic State militants have seized the body of a Syrian pilot whose fighter jet was shot down by Israel.
On Tuesday, Syrian forces reached the Golan Heights frontier for the first time in seven years. Israel shot down another that crossed into the Golan Heights in 2014.
According to Sky News Arabia, the plane crashed inside Syria, in the Yarmouk Basin. The direct response to the Israeli forces will come at an appropriate time.
