Washington Redskins rookie running back Derrius Guice is out for the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee.

Guice was injured in Washington's preseason opener at New England on Thursday night and could be seen on the sideline with ice on his knee. It's not clear whether that previous injury made him more susceptible to the torn ACL, but there were National Football League teams that did extra evaluation on his medical status leading up to the draft because of that knee. An MRI showed much worse - a torn ACL. The Athletic and ESPN reported Brady expected his pending contract adjustment to be in place before Week 1 of the regular season.

The injury is devastating news to the Redskins, who drafted Guice to fix their 28th-ranked run offense from 2017.

This includes surpassing 300 passing yards six times while posting multiple touchdown passes 10 times along with holding a passer rating above 100 eight on eight occasions.

White House says Omarosa’s claim of Trump’s racism is ‘false’
Another White House official confirmed that Manigault Newman brought Cohen into the White House and was later rebuked for it. Omarosa doesn't claim to have heard Trump use this racial slur herself, but knows of multiple people who have.

Contrast that with Rob Gronkowski's restructured deal from past year, which allowed the tight end to earn an extra $5.5 million by reaching certain totals in one of three statistical categories or by securing first-team All-Pro honors.

However, Kelley's fallout ensued in Year 2 of the young back's career.

In Weeks 11-17, Perine averaged 2.65 yards after contact per attempt, ranking 12th among running backs with at least 100 attempts in said span. And losing a year of development with a running back pushes the Redskins' pursuit for a strong rushing attack another year down the road.
