Shaun Weiss, the child actor who played goalie Greg Goldberg in the Mighty Ducks films, was arrested over the weekend for public intoxication.

According to police reports the group were "behaving erratically with flashlights" and the officers quickly suspected they were under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Weiss was arrested for being under the influence of drugs.

"He was transported and booked into the Butte County Jail", the statement continued.

According to TMZ, police arrested Weiss around 1 a.m. Saturday and took him to jail. He was reportedly walking around shining a flashlight into his own face. The odd behavior led officials to believe the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, Oroville Lt. Chris Nicodemus told People.

Weiss has been in trouble with the law before, including an arrest past year for possession of meth, which came on the heels of an arrest for stealing merchandise from an electronics store. Police "cut him a break" and released him after a few hours in custody.

"He was sober for weeks [the] last time I talked to him", a source close to Weiss tells ET. That particular arrest came just five days after he'd been sentenced to 150 days in jail for stealing $151 worth of merchandise from an electronics store.

He only ended up serving 12 days for that crime due to overcrowding.

After his success in The Mighty Ducks, Shaun had a number of guest-starring roles, but he also starred in NBC's Freaks and Geeks as "Sean".
