Subsequent symbiotes born of Venom maintained the look as it is one of the coolest designs in comics. Sony released a violent new trailer for the film on Tuesday. Eddie casually describing his alter-ego as a "parasite" in the last moments of the three-minute clip is hilariously mild, offering a glimmer of the comedic relief Venom will weave through its thrilling narrative.
Given how the first trailer barely showed any of Venom the character itself, this trailer's pretty much gone 180 and shown pretty much all there is of the character.
In a lab the antagonist says: "Look around at the world, what do you see?"
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Venom stars Hardy, Michelle Williams, Ahmed, Jenny Slate, Scott Haze and Woody Harrelson. This latest trailer clearly lays out what we can expect from the plot as Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock begins looking into something he describes as "really bad".

If he instead had signed a $4.3 million qualifying offer, he would have entered 2019 as an unrestricted free agent. Capela led the league in field goal percentage (.652) while ranking eighth in rebounding and second in blocks.
Like Venom, he's a Symbiote - an amorphous extraterrestrial who create a symbiotic bond with a single entity. While that version of the character had to compete for screen time with the film's many characters, this new iteration will focus completely on Brock and his relationship with the alien symbiote.
This is the trailer we've been waiting for.
The second, brand new trailer has arrived, and you can see it below. In fact, we even see the leader of the Life Foundation, Carlton Drake, donning a symbiote of his own later on in the trailer, using it to fight Venom one-on-one. Check out the new trailer below, and watch Venom when it hits theaters on October 5.
