Google has already partnered with the likes of Lenovo and JBL to deliver a Google Assistant smart speaker that comes with a display. The new gadget may be tiny - smaller than a smartphone, in fact, or a radar detector - but it still manages to fit in the eight microphone array from the new second-generation Echo Show. It seems that Google will be announcing a new product under its Home smart speaker range called the Google Home Hub.
The tech firm is to introduce redesigned versions of its Echo Dot, Echo Plus and Echo Show smart home speakers - all of which are powered by voice-activated, artificially intelligent assistant, Alexa.
Amazon today refreshed its lineup of Echo devices in a big way, announcing next-generation Echo Dot, Echo Plus, and Echo Show smart speakers, plus some brand-new products like the Echo Sub, Echo Input, Echo Link-even an Echo Clock for your wall and Echo Auto for your vehicle.
Android Authority notes that the price of the Google Home Hub will be at $149. As per the report, another color may be a Charcoal variant, but there are no images available to prove that. The device is listed as having improved smart speaker capabilities than the current Google Home speakers. It can access Google Photos via voice commands, and the Live Albums feature allows users to see these photos in a slide-show format. We can take this as the Google's Smart Displays, which too has got a special interface of Google Assistant.
