Ariana Grande has posted a tribute to ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, including a video of the late rapper.

Miller, real name Malcolm McCormick, was 26 when he died from a suspected overdose.

Grande who has been blamed for his death and even disabled the comments on her Instagram because of it, spoke up about losing her 'dearest friend'. "I can't believe you aren't here anymore".

Grande and Miller dated for two years.

"I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man's inability to keep his shit together is a very major problem", she wrote.

Ari has finally broken her silence over her Mac Miller's death.

"We talked about this", Grande continued.

'I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. "I don't want to be depressed", he said. I saw that, I was around it, I took phone calls from her - 'How do I help?' 'What do I do?'

Within weeks, Grande had begun dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, and the pair confirmed their engagement in June. She's shared a private video of her and Mac laughing together.
