President George Manneh Weah and a high-level Liberian delegation have safely arrived in Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC) to join his African colleagues at the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China - Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
On top of Wang's list is "building a strong community of a shared future" between China and Africa. China-Africa trade volume amounted to 170 billion US dollars in 2017, up from just over 10 billion dollars in 2000, according to data from China's Ministry of Commerce.
"Established 18 years ago, FOCAC has led global cooperation with Africa and has become a significant marker of South-South cooperation", said Li Dan, director of Africa Studies Center of China Foreign Affairs University. "Some people say it's unlikely, but I believe it's totally possible".
He is expected to propose new ideas to strengthen relations with Africa and announce new measures for pragmatic cooperation.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on the Chinese communist party to work more closely with the ANC.
Over the past almost two decades, the numbers coming out of FOCAC have generally risen with each event.
The Bank of China wanted "to financially facilitate the investment activities into South Africa, with a particular focus on Special Economic Zones and Industrial Parks".
At the summit's conclusion, South Africa will hand over the co-chairship of Focac to a new African country, having served six years (2012 to 2018) in this role.
The third agenda is setting a new path for China-Africa Cooperation towards a higher level. African countries are part of over 60 countries worldwide benefiting from Beijing's 1.2 trillion-dollar initiative.

President Museveni on arrival held bilateral talks with his Kenyan counterpart, Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, on issues of mutual interest between the two countries.
"It is premised on the African Union's Agenda 2063, a vision that has been crafted in Africa, by Africans". Chinese funds are not for "vanity projects" in Africa but are to build infrastructure that can remove development bottlenecks, he said.
Costantinos, also professor of public policy at the Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, further lauded the initiative for its target to economically integrate countries through various projects. "Clearer answers as to how and where they can participate are also expected from the summit".
All 53 African countries that have established diplomatic relations with China will send representatives to the conference, said Jiang.
"There are worries that this infrastructure has been inflated in price, and that it is highly unlikely to make return on investments that is necessary for these countries to get in order to pay back the debt", he said. "This year, 69 Kenyan students have received Chinese government scholarships whereas 100 students received scholarships from various Chinese companies", the ambassador said.
It said most of the agreements were aligned to commitments made during the FOCAC summit held in Johannesburg in December 2015.
"Applications for attendance significantly surpassed our expectations", Jiang Zengwei, head of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said Friday at a press briefing.
Ramaphosa said Focac was introduced on the African people's right to determine their own future. "Is China unfairly exploiting Africa like the others before it?" Morocco and Tunisia have already eased visa restrictions. In some projects, the Chinese help us with 85 per cent payment, and soft loans that span 20 years.
