Square Enix are clearly keen to get as many Final Fantasy games as possible onto Switch, and that's in addition to the recent Octopath Traveler and the upcoming remaster The World Ends With You -Final Remix-.

But revealed for the first time on the Direct was World Of Final Fantasy Maxima, a new version of the existing PlayStation and PC game for Switch that will be out on November 6. Also, in 2019, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X and X-2, and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will all also be arriving on the platform.

Several of the cars in the pack will feature film-inspired gadgets that players will be able to view while in Forzavista mode. There's no exact time frame for the demo's release, though it's clearly pencilled in for launch on September 12.
Of course, with Square Enix bringing these Final Fantasy titles to the Xbox One, it makes one wonder if the Japanese publishing giant will bring other titles to the Microsoft's console in the future.
The game announcements will be particularly poignant announcement for fans of the series' 16-bit golden age, back in the 1990s.
Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!, a "return" to the 2007 game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, will debut for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this winter. Final Fantasy 8 is notably omitted from this list, and we're not quite sure why, but as long as we can run through Final Fantasy 9 again, we won't be complaining.
