"The official Forza Horizon 4 demo, which launches worldwide today for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, allows players to take a tour of attractive, historic Britain and gives fans a healthy heaping of open-world gameplay to enjoy", a Microsoft representative told me.
There's no exact time frame for the demo's release, though it's clearly pencilled in for launch on September 12.
Xbox One and Windows 10 Exclusive.
Forza Horizon 4 launches on PC and Xbox One on October 2nd, with those who buy the Ultimate Edition getting four days early access. The announcement also contained information about the game's demo, as well as the reveal that Horizon 4's Day One Car Pack contains vehicles from both old and recent James Bond films.
Henry Cavill Reportedly Done Playing Superman
Even more interesting, is that they are of the mindset that the Superman role is interchangeable, similar to James Bond . If Cavill is out, it looks like the two founding pillars of Warner Bros' DCEU might be leaving crimefighting behind.
The Forza Horizon 4 demo gives players their first chance to see the new location of Britain in this fourth entry in the subseries of the Forza Motorsport franchise. But it will be released alongside a Day One auto pack that might be of interest too. It will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, and also launch into Xbox Game Pass for subscribers on the same day.
Several of the cars in the pack will feature film-inspired gadgets that players will be able to view while in Forzavista mode. Those include the revolving license plate and bumper rams of '64 Aston Martin DB5, as well as the submersible kit for for '77 Lotus Esprit S1.
In a post over on Xbox Wire, Microsoft doesn't get too specific about what players can expect from the demo.
