Red Dead Redemption 2, the latest game from Take-Two Interactive Software's Rockstar Games, posted worldwide sales of more than $725 million in its first three days. The file names "PARAM_companionAutoConnectIpPC" and "CommandIsPcVersion (void) 000000000166A12C" directly mention the PC, and another mentions a feature available in Grand Theft Auto V on PC. To top it all off, the game also holds the title of the biggest entertainment launch of 2018.
Biggest opening weekend in retail sell-through across all entertainment releases. In the United Kingdom it was revealed earlier in the week that it was in fact only the second biggest retail launch of the year, behind Federation Internationale de Football Association 19.
These sales figures are not only a testament to the reputation Rockstar Games has in the industry, but also to the quality of the product.
