The 69-year-old actor's lawyer has sent a legal notice to Dutta for allegedly making false accusations against him in an incident that dates back to a decade. After giving a series of interviews about her support towards #MeToo Movement and about her becoming a victim on the sets of her film, Dutta has now taken legal action against Nana Patekar.
Ganesh Acharya also denied the incident. Mr Patekar is now filming Housefull 4 with actor Akshay Kumar, whose wife Twinkle Khanna and other celebrities have publicly supported Tanushree Dutta. An officer told Hindustan Times, "The narrative of the video was edited in a way that it looks like Kumar is expressing his views on the Dutta-Patekar controversy, which he never did".
