It is now the second highest grossing dubbed Hindi film after Baahubali 2 which has amassed a mammoth Rs 500 crore and more.
The makers are happy with the Hindi version's business and in Tamil Nadu too, the film is drawing a good number of audiences in weekdays (though TN figures are yet to be made official). The actor has already scored a box office hattrick with Gold and Pad Man.
The S Shankar directorial has touched the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide within seven days of its release.

While Rajinikanth starrer has been receiving an overwhelming response in South India, the film has fared exceptionally well in other countries like New Zealand, Australia and the US. Previous year that record was beaten by its sequel "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion', which made Rs 511 crore".

The film is co-written and directed by S. Shankar. The film is one of the most expensive Indian film which also is a standalone sequel to 2010's Enthiran.
