On the heels of rookie signal caller Lamar Jackson getting the starting job with the Ravens and leading the team to the postseason this past year, Baltimore has reportedly made a decision to send its Super Bowl winning quarterback and person whose career is essentially one big meme to the Denver Broncos. Past year he threw for 12 touchdowns and six interceptions, completing 61 percent of his passes, in nine games. They had extra selections in the fourth and fifth rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft, and used a fourth-round pick (their own) to get Flacco from the Ravens.
With Denver holding the No. 10 pick in the draft, Broncos fans have to wonder if the team will draft a quarterback.
Flacco lost his starting job last season to rookie Lamar Jackson and was widely expected to be traded or released in the offseason.
Case Keenum was the starting quarterback of the Broncos last season. Last season started well for Flacco, with three single-game grades of 83.0 or greater during Weeks 1 to 4.

I believe it's an easy argument to say Baltimore should have waited a little longer - especially considering the deal can't even go through until March 13 when the league year officially starts. When the deal is completed, the Ravens will save $10.5 million in cap space.
The Broncos must pay Keenum $7 million of his $18 million base salary whether he's on the roster or not.
However, Flacco showed up when it counted the most during that 2012 season, and he offered up the best stretch of his career during those 2012 playoffs.
Elway is always in what he calls win "from now on" mode, and Flacco's arrival will be just more proof of that.
The 11-year veteran played in nine games in 2018 - including a Week 3 matchup against the Broncos in Baltimore - before he suffered an injury that forced him out of the lineup.
