Olivia has since come under fire for "ignorant" comments she has made about college, including an interview just last week in which she admitted that she only went to college because her parents forced her.
The relatives of one applicant paid $1.2 million to have the applicant falsely described as the co-captain of a well-known California soccer team, although the applicant did not play competitive soccer, prosecutors said. Loughlin was released on $1 million bond on Wednesday after surrendering to federal authorities.

In a statement, USC said that it would be reviewing applications of students involved in the scam, including Olivia.
A rep for the university told the gossip site that anyone applying to the school "who are connected to the scheme alleged by the government will be denied admission to USC".
"I don't know how much of school I'm going to attend", she said in a YouTube video posted on August 14, 2018, the day she started at USC.
But it's sadly not over for the YouTube star and freshman at USC as she's facing losing lucrative brand sponsorships and deals.
Giannulli then published an apology just two days later following numerous comments calling her "privileged" and a "spoiled brat". "I'd like to maybe sit with you after your session with the girls as I have some concerns and want to fully understand the game plan and make sure we have a roadmap for success as it relates to [our daughter] and getting her into a school other than [Arizona State University]!"
