Real Madrid have confirmed the arrival of Zinedine Zidane's first signing after his return as the club as sealed a massive deal for Brazilian defender Eder Militão.

The 21-year-old Brazilian has joined for an undisclosed transfer fee following a terrific breakthrough season in the Primeira Liga.

The right footed player, who can fill in at either right back or in central defense, has signed a six-year deal to take him to Real Madrid until the end of June 2025 and is thought to have cost in the region of 50 million euros (1 euro = 1.13 USA dollars).

A statement released by Madrid on their official website read: "Eder Gabriel Militao is officially a new Real Madrid player, signing until 2025".

Tim Tebow reassigned to minor league camp by Mets
The move comes after Tebow went 4-for-15 (.267) with no home runs and one RBI in eight Grapefruit League games. In 84 games last season with Double-A Binghamton, Tebow batted.273 with six homers and 36 RBIs.

The defender, who will join in the summer, is 21 years old and is a full global with Brazil. He has also played regularly in the Champions League, helping Porto reach the quarter finals for the first time since 2015. It stands out for its speed, placement and ability to anticipate.

Porto acquired him from Sao Paulo and handed him a five-year contract.

A man who made his senior worldwide debut for Brazil in September 2018 will join a defensive unit in Spain which has been far from watertight this season.
